FURNISTORE IS STILL LOOKING FOR A VOLUNTEER HANDYMAN
Volunteer Role Description – Handyman
We are looking for a volunteer handyman (or handywoman) to work in our warehouse in the Holmethorpe Estate in Redhill, providing general help in the maintenance of the warehouse with jobs such as painting walls and doors, erecting shelving, creating storage areas, changing light bulbs etc. We are looking for someone who enjoys handyman work and is empathetic to the charity cause.
Hours are flexible but we would hope for a commitment of at least two or three hours per week. If you are interested – please contact us directly

Furnistore Christmas Party!
On Friday 16th December 2022, we decided to celebrate Christmas here at Furnistore this year, with all our amazing Volunteers.
We took the opportunity to express our thanks as we are very grateful to all our Volunteers, for all the help, support and hard work throughout this year, without our Volunteers we could not help so many families in need.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
We have received a very generous donation from Fidelity, they have donated all sorts of furniture which will help many families, in need, to furnish their homes in East Surrey.
Also thank you to Restore Harrow Green for delivering the furniture to Furnistore, they were especially very helpful.

All of us at Furnistore celebrated a special birthday to Tom, who has been a volunteer at Furnistore for over 10 years.
As well as volunteering he is now a part-time member of staff.

Mayoress of Reigate & Banstead
All the volunteers from Furnistore had a wonderful afternoon and enjoyed the Mayoress cakes.
Happy 80th Birthday Mary
On Friday 29th October, we celebrated a special birthday surprise for our lovely volunteer Mary, who has been at Furnistore for over 13 years.
